Measurement is about our search for connections and meaning.
It begins in 1887 at the Case School of Applied Science, just outside Cleveland, Ohio. Albert Michelson and his wife are in the lab where Michelson will try one last time to find proof of the luminiferous aether which is believed to fill the cosmos. All the other experiments have failed.
Then the story jumps ahead in time, sometimes to the near future and other times well into the 20th century, following Michelson and his family and friends as they reveal what happened to them through who, and what, they’ve chosen to measure.
Measurement is a drama with humor, a science experiment full of humanity, and a play with songs.
